Globis Cup 2021, 5th - 6th of June

Dear go friends,

we were announced that the Globis Cup 2021 will be held again online this year. The date will be 5th - 6th of June (2021). Playing server - WBaduk (CyberOro). Time settings will be the same as in past editions and the same as the NHK Cup - see https://senseis.xmp.net/?JapaneseTiming%2FNHKCup for the reference.
Eligible players - all players born in 2001 and later.

The EGf has one place in the tournament and we are asked to nominate our player by mid of April.
Therefore, we decided to run our qualification tournament during 10th - 11th of April. It will be run on WBaduk server with the same settings as the final Globis Cup will be held in June.
Eligible players for the qualification tournament are all players with the EGF passport who reach a playing level at least 3 dan (e.g. rating 2250) within a period of January - March 2021 and are born in 2001 or later. An exact format of the tournament will be set up after we know a final number of participants, nevertheless, we will try to set up it as close to the format of the Globis Cup Final as possible.
