І знову турнір в Китаї:

Dear Go friends,

find attached the information about the 4th Silk Road tournament.
Please forward this to any player who may be interested in participating at the tournament. European players have a tradition of occupying most of the top places. (First place is around 7500€.)

There are 30 seats for European players, 3d or stronger.
The tournament will take place from 9 to 14 October in Tianshui city, Gansu province.

The biggest change this year is that the travelling support for top 10 Europeans changed to 1.500 RMB per win, starting from the 5th win.

Deadline for application is 10 September. Send me the required information along with your application.

We are pleased to announce that we are going to hold the 16th World Students Go Oza Championship from Feb 19 to 23, 2018 in Tokyo, Japan.
16 students from around the world will come together in Japan to decide the world’s number one student player.

To select the 16 students, we are going to have an online preliminary round on Pandanet.

Dear Go Friends,

in two weeks time, on 4th and 5th of November, Viennese Go Club Go7 will celebrate its 10th anniversary. For this occasion, the yearly Austrian Open Go Tournament will be played at Go7. We can fit in up to 50 players, and there are still open spots! To properly celebrate the anniversary, there is a big party planned at Go7 on Saturday and on Sunday, we will officially inaugurate a new Go Touchscreen in the city centre of Vienna.

So if you are in for a spontaneous trip to Vienna, we would be very happy if you join us!

Знаєте, якось раніше, коли я розміщував такі повідомлення, то думав: "ну що ж вони так пізно повідомляють, це ж ніхто не встигне візи оформити..."
А тепер уже й не треба так думати - безвіз. Залишаються лише практичні проблеми: житло, квитки і т.п.
Так що, хто має бажання, підкріплені "мішком грошей під ліжком", то можна запросто поїхати (полетіти) на вікенд до Відня і прийняти участь в турнірі.

Літак до Будапешту, звідти проїзд до автостанції і три години дешевим автобусом до Відня, в залежності від часу відправлення ціна відрізнятиметься.
Попередньо можна написати організаторам і попросити "притулку" на час турніру, у когось із місцевих гравців, або у спортивному залі на матрасах, як цим скористались минулого року гравці з Чехії за 4 євро з особи за дві ночі)
Враховуючи те, що турніри зазвичай немаленькі, для багатьох буде цікаво
...
З приводу харчування теж можна запитати у організаторів, але минулого року вони також годували дешево і смачно.

The tournament is endowed with prize money, and since Velika Gorica is only a short distance from Zagreb and hosts the city's international airport, it is easy to reach, especially for international players.
