Please take note that the 7th International Strasbourg Go tournament will be organized on March 21st and 22nd: http://tournoi.gostrasbourg.fr/en/.
If your Go Federation members are interested, they should pre register to facilitate the organisation this event.
In parallel, we will organise a qualification tournament (5 rounds) for the EGF Grand Slam tournament ( Berlin). All European playes with a level above 2550 EGF points were invited.

44 th Amsterdam International Go Tournament, Ascension Day weekend, May 14-17, 2015

One of the major European tournaments, with international participation. Traditionally we have a Blitz tournament on the wednesdayevening before the tournament and as we have done in the preceding years there is a rapid tournament sponsored by DNM. This year that will be held on friday. The main tournament rounds will be on thursday, saturday and sunday.

Class C Tournament valid for the ranking EGD.

Prizes in all segment categories. A maximum of one prize per participant.
Different gifts for the participants kindly donated by the following institutions, people and companies: La Carbonería, Excelentísima Diputación de Sevilla, Japan Embassy, etc.

REGISTRATIONS:

All those players wishing to participate (including members of the Association of Andalusia Go) should apply through email to goandalucia@gmail.com, with the following information: name, category, KGS nick , town, country and a contact telephone number.

Due to the limited number of places in the tournament pre-inscription must be confirmed by the organization. Should anybody apply for the championship either without pre-inscription or with a pre-inscription not confirmed by the organization. Confirmed participation by organization should make the deposit of corresponding fee each case to the bank account to facilitate the organization. The tournament registration will be formalized only when confirmed by the organization and was made the corresponding bank deposit.
In the case to come to the championship without making prescription, or being it done and not have confirmation of the organization, or not paid the appropriate fee, participation shall be conditional upon the availability would have at that time. The capacity of the tournament is limited to a maximum of 64 participants.

Students or 16 kyu lower 5 €

Rest of participants 15 €

Carbonería Go Club members, 40% discount on the applicable enrollment

* Players under 18 must bring along a signed authorization from parent(s) or legal tutor stating their consent for the player to participate and naming the adult who will be in charge of said participant during the tournament.

The championship will take place at the beginning of the "Feria de Abril" (Seville's Spring Fair), one of the most important and well-known popular festivities in Spain.

Seville has an important hotel offer, it is important to book early because of the proximity of the April Fair.

I have a few updates about the 2nd Kuksu Mountains Cup as follows:

1. The KBA will cover up to 2 companions' registration per student. The companion may be family members or teachers. (registration includes accommodations, meals, and local transportation)

2. The registration deadline is July 21.

3. The age limit is not strict.

4. The KBA is confident that the MERS situation will be under control before the event takes place.

If you haven't received my previous email, here is the outline of the event:

Можливо когось зацікавить поїздка в Китай:

Dear Go friends,

The Silk Road Tournament (Qingling Mountains Cup) is being held again in Xi'an from 8 to 13 October. As you might know, Pavol Lisy 1p and Ali Jabarin 1p came 1st and 2nd last year (and they won 60.000 RMB and 30.000 RMB respectively).

It was a happy incident not only for our European players, but also for Chinese Go fans and media. Therefore the organisers would very like to see even more European faces at this year's tournament. 30 seats are reserved for European players (3 dan and stronger).

You can find more information in the attached document. Please pass them to the top players of your country.

Don't miss the deadline for registration 20 August. Please ask me any questions you might have about the tournament.
