Dear all international Baduk Federation and Associations,

I am glad to tell the 20th KPMC will be held in Taebaek City following last year.
There are several big changes for this KPMC, so please find the outline carefully.
The outline of this KPMC is as below.
Please notice the details are not confirmed yet, so they are subject to change afterwards.

○Date: November 7(Fri.) ~ November 14(Fri.)
○Venue: Taebaek City, Gangwon-do, Republic of Korea

○Main changes of the KPMC

1) Holding another official KPMC tournament: Youth(U15) representative player division
- For the first time in the KPMC history, a new division called Youth Division which is for each national youth representative player under 15 years old will be established. In a words, there will be two divisions: national representative player & youth representative player.
- Therefore, two representative players including one national player and one youth player (U15) from each country/territory will be invited.
- The national player under 15 and youth player can accompany one guest as a guardian without any guest fee. The guardian should share the room with the player.
- National Division will be held with 7 Round Swiss System and Youth Division with 6 Round Swiss System.
- As the budget is limited, the invitation also has limitation. The number of invitation will be limited on a first-come, first-served basis.

2) Holding Open Pair Baduk Tournament on weekends
- On weekends, Open Pair Baduk Tournament which national and foreign Baduk players can participate in will be held.
- To participate, a pair should consist of man and woman or include a youth player. Man-man or woman-woman pair will have a penalty.
- Open Pair Baduk Tournament will be held with 5 Round Swiss System.
- Participants to the Pair tournament will be provided with lunch and dinner on Sunday (Nov. 9) and participate in the tour program too.
- Non-participants to the Pair tournament will be free on Sunday schedule, but the meal and transportation should be responsible for themselves.

3) Unavailable airfare support for the players
- Due to change of government budget regulation, it is impossible to support airfare for the players except invited executives.

4) You can choose the destination to Incheon or Seoul after the official schedule, but accommodation cannot be provided on that night.
- According to many requests from participants, after the KPMC is over on Nov. 14(Fri.), you can choose the buses to take to go to Incheon or Seoul.
- The destination should be written on the registration form.
- As the destination is divided and participants increase, the accommodation for that night on Nov. 14 will be not provided.

○Notice about the accommodation
- Same as last year, it is unavoidable to use one accommodation with at least two persons considering the structure of Taebaek Hotel. Therefore, KBF will provide the accommodation for the convenience players first as below.

1) Deluxe Twin room will be provided for each national player. As there are separate two bed rooms and bathrooms, each player can use them separately.
2) Deluxe Family or Royal Suite room will be provided for two teams of youth representative player (guardian & youth player). The room is bigger than Twin Room and have two bed rooms and bathrooms, each team can use them separately.
3) The participant with any guest will share the room with the guest, not others. But, the number of guests will be limited as hotel rooms are limited.
4) It is also available to share the room with each national player and youth player with his/her guardian. In this case, they will also not share the room with other team, but its delegation only. If you would like to take this way, please write it on the registration form: ‘accommodation notice’.

Each Baduk Association and Federation should submit the registration forms for each national player and youth player.
If your country/territory will not send any youth player, please reply that only national player will participate in.

The participation should be confirmed by receiving ‘registration confirmation message from KBF’ after KBF checks the forms, budget, and etc.

Therefore, please wait for the confirmation first, then do the process to prepare the participation like holding a selection or booking the flight ticket.
If you don’t follow the procedure above, any issue happened will be responsible for yourself.

Цього року організатори оплачують усе крім авіа квитка. В травні буде відомо, чи може УФГО щось компенсувати, та одразу об'явимо конкурс. Якщо буде більше ніж один охочий для юнацького представника до 15 років (2010 року народження та пізніше), то проведемо онлайн турнiр.
