Kunming / China

Повідомлення Di »

There are two tournaments (one male, one female) in Kunming, and whenever you are in Kunming, everything is paid.
It's recommended to build teams of 3 players, but there is no team-tournament. At the end the individual results are "combined" to team-results, for example national teams.
It is also a goal of this tournament (my opinion) to motivate more female players to attend international tournaments.

this mail I got last week from the Chinese Weiqi Association. Please spread the info to your female players. This tournament is open for everyone, but there's no support for the travelling-expenses to/from China. Anyway, as there are no restrictions on the strength of the participants it might be interesting for some of your engaged female Go-players.

Please send any registration to me - I will forward it to Ms. Liu Ruimin from CWA (Chinese Weiqi Association).

Kind regards
Martin
